As Head of the Corporate Law Department, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and continued development of the department. You will advise on a wide range of corporate transactions while driving business growth, mentoring the team, and enhancing the firm’s corporate offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate solicitors and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing department.
• Client Advisory Work: Advise clients on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, share and asset sales and purchases, corporate restructurings, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and corporate governance.
• Department Strategy: Develop and implement the strategic direction of the Corporate Law Department in line with the firm’s overall objectives.
• Transaction Oversight: Oversee complex and high-value transactions, ensuring quality, efficiency, and risk management throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Business Development: Drive growth through client relationship management, networking, cross-selling opportunities, and identifying new corporate work.
• Training and Development: Support the professional development of team members, ensuring technical excellence and knowledge-sharing across the department.
