Biography
I studied Law at Hull University, graduating in 2003 with 2:1 (hons). I then went to the College of Law in York to complete my Legal Practise Course. I qualified as a Solicitor in 2007, having practised as a paralegal and completed my training contract in Oldham. Since 2009 I have worked in East Lancashire both as a Solicitor and a Partner. I have been a self-employed Consultant Solicitor since October 2018.
I can provide legal advice for all the main life events, including Residential Conveyancing; Family Law; Wills and Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
I recognise that when it comes to needing the services of a Solicitor this is often a daunting step to have to take. For that reason, I offer straight forward legal advice without legal jargon. I aim to take the stress away from life’s stressful events and make the most complex legal matters easily accessible to everyone. I believe you need an approachable, empathetic expert who is very much on your side. I offer a unique approach to legal services, in a friendly and approachable way. I avoid legal jargon and offer fixed fees and out of hours appointment and home visits for no extra charge.
I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, I utilise the skills I learned on that course on a daily basis and am always there as a listening ear.
Interests: My motto is work hard play hard. Outside of the law, I will usually be found on my bike, walking, at Yoga, working out or on holiday!
